Well, I just got CoD4... And...

...Now I like it better than Halo 3. Here's why:
1: I actually prefer more realistic battle games where you have to actually think and take cover rather than being nearly invincible and running into a firefight without consequence.
2: It has better graphics. No, really, Halo 3 had GREAT graphics, but CoD4 had just BARELY beat Halo 3.
3: For Snipers, you can't No-Scope. And you have to hide. You can wear Gillie suits to hide in tall grass, leaves, ect. On top of that you have to move around constantly while trying not to be spotted.
4: You melee. With a knife! That is KICK ASS!
5: FlashBang grenades. Yeahhhh!
6: The maps have texture to them! And places to take cover! Realistically!

But I will definantly still play Halo 3. I can't get rid of it! You can make Montages and maps and it has overall KICK ASS multiplayer!
Now I see why there is a constant battle of Halo 3 and CoD4.
Don't trash the game 'till you try it.

ok, i dont feel that way in most aspects.......halo is a different kind of game than COD4. First of all, i play night in halo b/c of the very young and annoyance level during the day. In halo, i believe it is easier to have clans, and the multiplayer, you cant beat halo 3 multiplayer. you just cant!!!!

I do agree cod4 has the graffix, but halo is a whole different feel to it if you will. I take theater and philosophy and writing. The best way to express an emotion is through how it looks, feels. COD4 is gloomy for the world at war and all that. Halo appears to be more vibrant and colorful to represent happiuness, triumph.

So, overall, i say both, best games of 2007, rockband second behind halo. both good, but for me, IM A HALO FANATIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool. I still think CoD4's multiplayer is better.
trust me, even if you may not like it, rent it and play it.

I played Call of Duty 4 and it is definetly a better game than Halo 3. Halo 1 and 2 were the best games back then but now new games have come out and they are more improved. People have to accept that fact! Like Sniper Spawn said i will still play halo. I still Love it!! But Halo can't improve anymore due to what they did in Halo 1 they have to keep on using the samefactors they used and put it in halo 3.
Here is how i would rate the three best games.

1. Gears of War (Gears of War 2 is coming)
2. Call of Duty 4. (Call of Duty World at war is coming out!!)
3. Halo 3

for the halo 3, you forgot to put in parenthesis, (Halo Wars, Halo TV series, 2nd halo game trilogy)

and for COD4, u forgot to put cod5, WWII again (SUCKY!)

Does it really freakin matter? You don't need parenthesis! And who cares about CoD5! I never even knew there would be another one! This is the only CoD game I have! And yest WWII games are way over-made!
