PostSubject: Interlocking unmovable objects   Fri May 16, 2008 5:17 pm

Interlocking unmovable objects in forge is very simple, but time consuming.
But when done right, makes all the difference in a map.

Think about it, its hard enough to get a head shot without having bumps in the floor.

The first thing you want to do is spawn the first object that you want interlock.
Next click on X and set "Place At Start" to = NO
Now use walls crates or even street cones to mark the area were the two objects will interlock.
Next press the start button and click on start a new round. (remember to save its very important to save often)
Now when the new round starts the object will not be there
Next place the next unmovable object in the desired area. (make sure to let go of the object
before the first object spawns)
Now when the first object spawns it will be interlocked with the second object.
Remember to go back to the first object and set the "Place At Start" to = YES

I find it easier to use respawns since you can float them in the air and easily mark things they're very useful for interlocking also don't forget about the teardrop that is left over after you make something not spawn at start
